Project Legal Manager
Job Description
– Handle legal procedures and documentation for real estate projects (residential developments, industrial parks, etc.) throughout all project development stages, including: preparation of auction and bidding dossiers for land-use projects, investment policy approval applications, investor recognition procedures, master planning and detailed zoning plans (1/500), submission and approval of basic design and construction tec
– Manage legal matters relating to construction activities, including appraisal, verification, inspection, acceptance testing, handover, and commissioning of construction works
– Monitor, control, and handle legal issues relating to project adjustments, changes in project scale, design modifications, and other arising matters during project implementation
– Participate in and resolve legal issues arising from meetings, inspections, audits, and investigations conducted by competent government authorities throughout the project lifecycle until project completion and handover
– Develop implementation plans, timelines, and budgets for project legal procedures
– Liaise and work directly with government authorities and local agencies to expedite legal procedures and resolve issues arising during project implementation
– Prepare and submit reports to competent authorities in accordance with legal regulations and ad-hoc requirements
– Coordinate with internal departments to resolve legal matters arising during project implementation, including customer inquiries and complaints relating to project products
– Advise the Board of Management and relevant departments on project legal matters; research and update legal regulations to support management in investment, construction, and project development procedures
– Maintain and directly manage project legal records, documents, data, and related information
– Travel for business trips to provinces/cities depending on project locations
– Perform other tasks assigned by management
Candidate Requirements
Professional Requirements
– Bachelor’s Degree in Law, preferably majoring in Land Law or related legal fields
– Minimum 5-7 years of experience in project legal affairs, preferably within investment organizations or real estate development companies
– Strong knowledge of Vietnamese laws and regulations relating to construction, real estate business, land, and housing
– Good understanding of the legal framework and regulatory procedures involving government authorities related to project development activities
Skill Requirements
– Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
– Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and legal research tools
– Ability to work effectively with government authorities and regulatory agencies
– Ability to work under high pressure and meet tight deadlines
– Good command of English, particularly in reading and understanding legal documents and terminology
